Thanks to music grants from Scotts Valley Kiwanis and The Grammy Foundation, Scotts Valley High School was able to purchase music composition software for students, a new Mac computer and music keyboard, a music stand rolling rack, a musical stave white board, musician chairs, new music for Jazz Band and Choir, Sibelius musical notation software and Roland Micro Cube amps for rehearsal and recording! Mirari Brass is coming to Scotts Valley October 19th to have a private clinic with all middle and high school band students. These professional musicians will show our students technique, breathing, approaches to performing and share their own talents as a professional touring group.
